Ireland Calling

When I saw that Scotty Girl was going to be doing an Irish themed kit, I got very excited.  We spent 2 glorious weeks in Ireland...a place that immediately felt comfortable and like home.  I wonder why it took us so long to get there.  I didn't want to leave, that's how comfortable it had become.  The green, the scenes, the crosses, the pubs...all of it felt like putting on a comfortable old sweater.  It is truly one of my favorite places in the entire world and I hope to be able to return someday.

Here are a few layouts I completed with the new kit "Eire."  It was perfect for my Irish themed scrapping and I'm sure it will get a workout when I do more Ireland layouts.

We stopped in Lisdoonvarna to explore a little bit and grab some lunch.  Had a delicious lunch and met these charming locals having a break in the middle of the day.  They treated us to good conversation, some joke telling and even a little bit of music.  Great lunch!

We came across this scene at Trinity College in Dublin the first day of our trip.  It was set up perfectly for me to photograph.

And to expand on a's a bit of Irish Disney.  We ate at the Irish themed restaurant in Downtown Disney for the first time this past October.  The food was OK, but the entertainment took us back to good times in Ireland.
