This week, Scotty Girl is taking us to Disney's Hollywood Studios (or MGM Studios as me and other diehards like to refer) for scrapping memories. She has a great new kit called Hollywood Magic at Pixels & Co. MGM (Hollywood Studios) to me is the most visually beautiful of the parks at DisneyWorld. I love the art deco, old Hollywood feel...the nostalgia. It's the park that I could just look at everything, every detail, and be happy never setting foot on a ride or attraction. Shannon's kit takes us back to that beautiful era of art deco and gorgeous design elements with her kit. I had a lot of fun scrapping with it.
In the above layout, I was going for that old Hollywood feel. Something reminiscent of the surroundings that the Disney Imagineers worked so hard to create in this attraction. All the details are there and they are amazing to view and admire. I just can't get enough of it.
Of course no visit to the Studios (OK, here's a happy compromise) is complete without a picture of the iconic sorcerer's hat from Disney's Fantasia. This layout takes the elements of movie magic to give a sense of place for a photo that's been done a million times, but you never get tired of seeing.
Thanks for visiting Disney's MGM Studios (wink) with me. Can't wait to show you another part of Disney next Friday.
